I Don’t See the Left-Hand Sidebar — How Do I Navigate the Platform?

If you’re unable to see the left-hand sidebar, don’t worry — this is expected behavior for new users who have not yet completed the initial onboarding steps.

This article explains why the sidebar is hidden, what it means, and how to unlock full navigation access so you can browse jobs and manage your account smoothly.

Why the Left-Hand Sidebar Is Not Showing

As part of our updated onboarding process, the left-hand menu is hidden until you complete your first job search. This ensures that all users experience the core functionality of the platform before accessing full account navigation. At this stage, the sidebar will not appear if:

  • You have not performed a job search yet

  • You have not opened at least one job posting

How to Unlock the Left-Hand Navigation Menu

To make the left-hand sidebar visible, please follow these steps:

1. Perform a Job Search

Use the search feature on the platform to look for available jobs.

2. Open a Job Posting

Click on at least one job card to view the job details.

3. Apply to a job or save it to your list

To activate the left-hand sidebar, you need to interact with a job posting by either:

  • Clicking the "Apply Now" button to start your application, OR

  • Clicking the bookmark icon to save the job to your saved jobs list

4. Access the Sidebar

Once you apply or save a job, the left-hand navigation bar will automatically appear on your screen.

What You Can Do After the Sidebar Appears

After the left-hand menu becomes visible, you will be able to:

  • Navigate between different sections of the platform

  • Manage your account settings

  • Access subscription options, including cancellation
